Pediatric Speech Therapy Associates, which was established in 2007 by Jessica Shepherd, M.S., CCC-SLP, expanded the practice in early October to meet the growing needs of children in the South Denver area. With almost 1,500 square feet, they can provide additional services including: speech and feeding therapy as well as occupational and physical therapy in their state-of-the art sensory/motor gym.

The PSTA therapy team is trained to treat infants toddlers, and adolescents with a variety of communication, feeding and motor difficulties.
Pediatric Speech Therapy Associates specialize in treating children with a variety of communication and/or developmental delays. Children aged birth to twenty-one can receive speech, feeding, occupational or physical therapy at either of our South Denver locations. Our therapists use a variety of techniques to teach children the essential skills needed to be confident and successful communicators. Speech-language, feeding and motor treatment plans and goals are developed and implemented based upon your child’s needs.
Pediatric Speech Therapy Associates also offer a variety of speech/language, literacy, feeding and handwriting groups throughout the year. “Often children will be more motivated to try a difficult sound, initiate conversation or take a bite of a new food when surrounded by and encouraged by his or her same age peers,” said Shepherd. She further noted, “group therapy is an effective way for families to work towards specific goals during summer and other school breaks.”
