Speech Language Pathologist (Clinic Based)

This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position involving the provision of diagnostic and therapeutic communication services for individuals of all ages.

Essential Job Functions: 
– Provide speech/language, literacy, & oral-motor/feeding evaluations and therapy for clients of all ages
– Provide speech/language screenings
– Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including physicians, psychologists, therapists, school staff, and parents to provide holistic services
– Write evaluation reports, treatment plans, progress reports, correspondence and other paperwork needed to provide high quality services and maintain records • Participate in parent, community, and professional training efforts
– Participate in activities aimed at developing and marketing the program
– Potentially supervise graduate students or clinical fellows
– Perform other clinical or administrative duties as assigned by Program Director

Experience/Qualifications:
– Must be familiar with a wide array of diagnostic protocols and therapy approaches for children
– Experience or interest in working with and providing training/support to families. • Basic knowledge of ASL and/or willingness to learn
– Must have basic computer skills, including word processing
– Prefer experience with third party reimbursement documentation and procedures
– Must have excellent and professional written and verbal forms of expression, interpersonaland problem-solving skills

Education/Licenses/Certificates:
– Must have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
– Prefer CCC-SLP with Colorado State License
– Pass state and federal background checks

This is a position involving the provision of diagnostic and therapeutic communication services for children ages birth to three.

Currently, PSTA is looking to hire a IN HOME Occupational Therapist. As an Occupational Therapist at PSTA, you will be given the opportunity to be in control of your career and the hours you work. – Experience designing and implementing sensory diets

Physical Therapist – PRN

A Physical Therapist PRN provides the highest quality age-appropriate care for patients newborn to 21 years of age within the scope of practice and established standards for physical therapy. Functions effectively as a member of the rehabilitation team.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– Evaluates patients meeting established standards.
– Plans and implements effective and appropriate treatment so that functional outcomes are achieved.
– Completes documentation meeting departmental standards for content, accuracy, and timeliness.
– Includes family/caregiver in patient care and provides effective education appropriate for learning needs of patient and family.
– While clinical staff may serve a specific patient population, they have the potential to care for patients within the age population range served at Pediatric Speech Therapy Associates

MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS
– Graduate from accredited school with bachelor of science, or basic master’s degree, or doctorate degree in physical therapy.
– Proof of Colorado licensure in Physical Therapy or eligible for Colorado licensure and proof of application.
– BLS Certification is required within 30 days of hire
– Knowledge of pediatric theory and practice.
– Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective communication of information.
– Positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in an interdisciplinary environment.
– Minimum of one-year pediatric experience or related experience in physical therapy and supervisory experience preferred.
