Please Help Welcome Melanee Callough, MSP, CCC-SLP to Pediatric Speech Therapy Associates
Melanee earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Carolina. She has her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed by the state of Colorado. Melanee also received a Specialty Certificate in Traumatic Brain Injuries.
Melanee’s passion is providing early intervention services in the child’s home and providing family training. Melanee has worked in a variety of pediatric settings to include inpatient hospital, outpatient clinics, educational settings, and home health. She has experience with children who have Autism, Down Syndrome, articulation errors, phonological impairments, receptive and expressive language delays, feeding issues, developmental delays, sensory issues, and neurocognitive delays.
Melanee has also authored, co-authored, and edited numerous educational products for children. She has played an integral part in developing assessments for children, as well as provided continuing education courses and training for therapists.
Melanee enjoys spending time with her husband and son. Together they love to hike, camp, ride bikes, ski, sled, and snowshoe. In her spare time, Melanee enjoys reading, photography, decorating her home, and spending time with friends.
